We said our final good-bye tonight, all twelve puppies have made it home! This house is a bit too quiet tonight. The puppies went off to Arkansas, Kansas, two to Ohio, two to New Jersey, three to Texas and three stayed close to home here in Oklahoma. I can't wait to watch everyone grow! This girl is not impressed with the ice!! She says, I'll just stay nestled right here where it is warm and cozy!  Portuguese Water Dog at Oak Creek Farms, Miss Opal I hope everyone is staying warm and safe! The dogs don't seem to mind one bit that it is 5 degrees and -11 wind chill! It is sooo cold! Eight weeks old today! We started our good-byes today, so it seems so quiet here today. We didn't get above freezing today and it looks like it won't for days. We are all hunkered down staying warm. First snow of 2024. Teddy was pretty un-impressed... went out to the deck, walked around and right back in he went. Now at 1 pm, there is no sign it even snowed. Seven weeks old today! It was a cloudy, ugly day but we made the best of it. Snow is forecast for next week-end, so we had a practice snow day! They will be a pro on the sleds and we had so much fun. Happy 6th Birthday to Finley, Kipper, Rainey, Morty, Koa, Einstein, Milo, Sierra, Winston, Obi, Woody Guthrie and Ninja! I can't believe we are in 2024 and these pups are six years old! Where do the years go?! I hope you all have a wonderful birthday celebrating. We would love to see all your photos!!!
