Three weeks old today! The puppies are all growing fast. Eyes are open wide and ears are open too. These puppies did so good for photos. By the time we made it to the group photo, they had other ideas in mind.  Portuguese Water Dog puppies at Oak Creek Farms

Six weeks old today! The puppies love the outdoors, love the yard and running freely. It's so much fun to watch these little legs run and the tails wagging. The puppies are still on puppy mush and should transition to kibble this week. They are learning to tell time, they give me 30 minutes notice for feeding time.

Nice afternoon for a splash… even if that pond feels like pure ice water. They kept testing it, inch by inch, but this was as far as bravery carried them today.
This boy's momma trained him right. Bert is following in momma Hazel's footsteps. Amazing how genetics carry more than looks.

Five weeks old today! We enjoyed some play in the yard, a little free roam and running. They are eating puppy mush and loving it as we await the teeth to arrive. Momma is a little indifferent on this whole phase of their life, but everyone is doing great. She has an eagle eye and keeps close tabs at all times.
Happy 7th Birthday to Poppy, Hank, Radar, Timber, Kai, Squan, Mildred, Penelope, Socks, Sailor, Moxie and Huckleberry! I've double checked the year several times, how can these puppies be seven years old. We would love to hear all about you and see your photos. Have a wonderful day!  |
