  Papa Tripp looks a mess, in from a swim and run but he was pretty interested in his babies! Admiring on the other side was perfect for him, twelve on the loose may have been a bit overwhelming.
Puppies are 5 weeks old today! My how the time is flying by. I thought life would be so chaotic with a litter of 12. But they are the best pups, they rarely fuss and play so good!
We all have this toy thing down now. We got a new bag of toys over the week-end and they thought this was pretty fun! Some were well into toys and others not so much, but by last night, everyone was on board! We started on puppy food this morning. It was a hit! Everyone did great and especially for our first time! They will have this down by evening feeding. They all stayed at their bowl and didn't roam or anything. They also found the water. The water dispenser has been in the pen since they moved in and a few have taken notice, but more trying to figure out if this is a toy or what. Today, they have been drinking like crazy! Everytime I look over, someone is getting a sip. I guess puppy food makes your thirsty! Everyone has played and got their belly full, so naptime it is! We got new toys! Some still prefer the old but others found out this toy thing is pretty cool! Puppies are four weeks old today. We are playing with one another and sometimes our toys. We aren't too sure about the toys yet. Their teeth are coming in good, so the playtime is going to get loud. As their favorite toys will be their littermates ears, tails and feet.
Puppies are growing up, they have all graduated to the "puppy pen" today. This give them more room to sprawl out and play.  And of course, they are all against the one wall...  Mom is still close by...
Three weeks has gone by so fast! Puppies are really growing. Eyes are all open wide and they are getting around pretty good. This week they will begin playing with one another. Fun times will begin! |
