Our family

I would like to introduce our Oak Creek Farms Portuguese Water Dog family.
Our two boys... Teddy and Lester and our girls...  Hazel, Nellie, RubyQ and Opal.   
Our dogs are loved so much and all are a part of our family.
  
We live on over 400 acres in Oklahoma with many ponds and creeks for swimming and plenty of room to roam and play.  We love the outdoors and have a lot of adventures.   This is heaven for our Portuguese Water Dogs, who enjoy it all to the fullest.

The water dog is such a fun, loving dog... you are sure to fall in love as we have. 

Our boys

​Mr. Lester

​Lester is a black curly.   He is our Polish boy!   He is our hugger, wraps his paws around you and lays his down so sweetly.  His favorite thing is his stuffed toys and a ball.  He can play fetch as long as you are willing to play with him and technically can play by himself.   He doesn't often get to "win" when the girls are around but is very proud when he does.  He loves the water!  It doesn't matter where the water is located... the water bowl, the pool or the pond as long as he can lay down, sit, stand or run though it.

Mr. Teddy

​Teddy is a brown wavy.  He came to us from Portugal.  He is our own "Teddy" bear.  He is the sweetest, kindest dog on the farm.  He loves everyone!   His favorite thing is his belly rubs.  He is an old man at heart, we can be in conversation and next thing you know his head is bobbing and snoozing standing up.   He loves to play and swim in pond.

​​Miss Nellie

​Nellie is a brown wavy.  She is from Portugal and the sister of Teddy.  This is the sweetest girl and you can definitely see the "teddy" in the genes.  She is our shy and quiet, go with the flow girl.  She is the follower of the pack, she runs with the gang to play fetch but just to be with them.   She loves her pack but also loves her humans even more.

​Miss Hazel

​​Hazel is a brown wavy.   This girl is our house mother.  She keeps everyone in line and makes sure everyone stays clean.  She is extremely athletic, she can jump onto and over anything and loves to show anyone willing to watch her "tricks"!   She loves to play fetch and play in the water.  The pond is her favorite, always great fun, lots of running and chasing.    ​

Miss Ruby

​​Ruby is a white wavy.   She is our happy go lucky girl, she is the happiest girl ever.  She brings life to the party with her smile and whole body wiggle.  She loves to run and play but not necessarily to play fetch.  She wants to be a part of the gang and do whatever it is they are doing.  She loves the water in all forms!

We have so enjoyed them, all the puppies and the puppy families
that they have blessed us with over the years.
